And the brand’s strategy to continue accelerating the development of innovative electrification technologies will ensure that sustainability and strong performance combine effortlessly under the Kia badge,” stated Chang Sung Ryus.

MSRP for the special edition starts at $54,565 (plus destination fee) for the rear-wheel-drive model or $56,675 (plus destination fee) for the all-wheel-drive version. It’s primarily based on the Stinger GT2, with its 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine good for 368 horsepower and 376 lb-feet of torque. The Tribute Edition will pay homage to Kia’s high-performance vision and celebrates the Stinger sedan’s vast contribution to the brand since its creation in 2017. Some things to look forward to are the black trim and exhaust tips, Brembo brake calipers, and unique 19-inch wheels. It receives Terracotta Nappa leather-based seats with a unique Tribute Edition logo inside. There’s additionally a synthetic suede headliner and “simulated carbon fiber” interior trim. The Tribute Edition vehicles will even obtain custom-numbered sill plates.

If anyone has always thought about buying a Stinger, this is the chance to get a particularly unique one. The vehicle also comes with LED headlights, and turn signals are standard, with the option for available LED Bi-function headlights that come with Dynamic Low beam assist and a standard suite of advanced driver assistance technologies. This vehicle was built to perform; it is equipped with a drive mode select system, limited slip differential, and electronically controlled suspension.

In the automaker’s words, “existing Kia customers and hand raisers” will be the first to know when the car hits dealers. “We want to give our loyal customers a jump on the opportunity to own this ultra-exclusive Stinger Tribute Edition,” said Eric Watson, Vice President of Sales at Kia America.

A tribute video was created to say goodbye to the Stinger in a grand style. The video takes place with a verbal exchange between the Stinger and the EV6 GT, like old buddies who have not seen each other in a while. They compare their specs and accolades before the verbal exchange turns toward jealousy and trying to win over who is better.

The EV6 GT has 576 horsepower, 545 lb.-feet of torque, and a 3.4-second 0-60 mph time. While also carries driver-selected GT Mode and Drift Mode, and it’s an electric vehicle like no other.
