The Rio is the most reliable Kia model. Many might think that the quality would be low because of the low price, but that is not the case with the Kia Rio. RepairPal offers the Rio an “excellent” reliability rating of 4.5 out of five; that’s the best in the Kia lineup. The rating was based on frequency, severity, and cost of repairs. Like other new Kia models, the Rio has a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
